The Opportunity

A fast-growing, high-performing consultancy in the energy sector is looking to hire a driven and resilient Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its expanding commercial team.

This is a high-pressure, high-reward role focused on outbound prospecting, booking qualified meetings, and generating long-term pipeline. You’ll engage directly with senior decision-makers across mid-market and large corporate businesses.

This is not a high-volume, entry-level call centre role — success requires a consultative, intelligent approach to outreach.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to UK businesses
  • Identify and engage senior decision-makers (Directors, Owners, Finance leads, Operations)
  • Book qualified meetings for senior consultants
  • Obtain energy bills to support consultancy assessments
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities
  • Log all activity accurately within CRM systems
  • Handle objections and gatekeepers confidently
  • Contribute to improving outreach strategy and messaging

Performance Expectations

  • Baseline: ~2 meetings or bills secured per week
