Are you a Sales Engineer from a Mechanical and or Hydraulics background, or a Mechanical Engineer looking to move into a sales-based role, looking for an exciting and varied position, where you can blend technical expertise with client-facing sales, for a nationwide manufacturer renowned for their cutting-edge industrial and heavy-duty brake systems?
Do you want to work in a role where you will get to work across a variety of sectors, including but not limited to the mining, steel, nuclear, and transportation sectors, where you will get the autonomy to turn the role into your own and sell into large, blue chip organisations throughout the UK?
On offer is the chance to become a staple-part of a renowned and worldwide manufacturer or heavy-duty brake systems, who supply their products on an international scale, and more locally working with organisations like Hinkley Point C and London Underground.
In this role you will be responsible for enquiring about both cold and warm leads, either through enquiries from potential clients/companies or by proactively going to target industries and developing relationships, eventually leading to the sale of company products. You will understand client braking system needs and provide technical expertise and be a prominent figure from the begging of the sales process, all the way to after-sale care.
This role would suit a Sales Engineer from a Mechanical and or Hydraulics background, or a Mechanical Engineer looking to move into a sales-based role, looking for a long-term and autonomous role, where you can blend technical expertise with client-facing sales, with the added benefits of in-house training on the companies expertise, a car allowance or travel reimbursement, and further company benefits.
The Role
- Enquiring about both cold and warm leads in a variety of target industries
- Be the technical go to for clients' questions and queries regarding a variety of braking systems
- Working with clients from the begging of the sales process through to after-sale care
