Established for over 45 years and now one of the North West’s leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, WEC is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our busy and expanding sales team based in Blackburn, Lancs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to join one of the UK’s largest laser & water jet cutting operations in the fabrication and engineering sector.

Responsibilities

• Quote and sell the services of Waterjet and Plasma cutting services as well as other additional engineering applications offered by the group.
• Quote existing and new customers, maintaining a high standard of service
• Use sales and engineering experience to quote and win orders from a diverse range of customers
• Maintain and grow current and new customer working relationships

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Estimating experince within the metals industry, preferably from a laser cutting, profiling, or water jet cutting background.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings to discuss solutions and be able to prepare and submit quotations.
