Sales Executive / Account Manager

The Security Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing client relationships for CCTV and security solutions. This office-based position will or identify prospects, managing the sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into long-term customers across commercial and residential sectors. The role will report to the Commercial Director.

Monday to Friday

9am - 5pm

Location is based in LS1 but hybrid working can be an option. 

£35,000 per annum

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for CCTV systems alongside our full portfolio of security solutions.
  • Proactively generate leads using lead generation platforms, outbound prospecting, and networking
  • Strengthen and maintain relationships with current clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new clients
  • Manage and maintain sales activity using the company CRM system
  • Qualify incoming enquiries and convert them into sales opportunities
  • Arrange site visits and meetings with potential clients where required
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up with prospects
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPI’s
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings within the security industry

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven sales experience within the security industry (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, manned guarding or related systems)
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, pipeline, and client interactions
  • Experience using lead generation platforms (e.g., Barbour ABI, Lusha, etc.)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating new business

DESIREABLE SKILLS

  • Knowledge of commercial security installations and CCTV systems
  • Experience selling B2B security solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
