Sales Executive / Account Manager

The Security Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing client relationships for CCTV and security solutions. This office-based position will or identify prospects, managing the sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into long-term customers across commercial and residential sectors. The role will report to the Commercial Director.
Monday to Friday
9am - 5pm
Location is based in LS1 but hybrid working can be an option.
£35,000 per annum
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for CCTV systems alongside our full portfolio of security solutions.
- Proactively generate leads using lead generation platforms, outbound prospecting, and networking
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with current clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new clients
- Manage and maintain sales activity using the company CRM system
- Qualify incoming enquiries and convert them into sales opportunities
- Arrange site visits and meetings with potential clients where required
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up with prospects
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPI’s
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings within the security industry
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proven sales experience within the security industry (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, manned guarding or related systems)
- Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, pipeline, and client interactions
- Experience using lead generation platforms (e.g., Barbour ABI, Lusha, etc.)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating new business
DESIREABLE SKILLS
- Knowledge of commercial security installations and CCTV systems
- Experience selling B2B security solutions
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Strong organisational and time management skills
