Sales Executive in Heaton Norris, Borough of Stockport

The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and securing sponsors for a range of events, including conferences, workshops, and networking events. They will work closely with the events team to develop sponsorship packages and proposals and will be responsible for managing relationships with sponsors throughout the event planning and execution process.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL.....

• Experience in events, media, delegate or sponsorship sales
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Experience with budget management and event planning a plus

THE ROLE.....

• Identify and research potential sponsors for events
• Develop sponsorship packages that align with the objectives of the event and the sponsor
• Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts with sponsors
• Build and maintain relationships with sponsors throughout the event planning process
• Coordinate with the events team to ensure that sponsors receive the agreed-upon benefits
• Monitor the effectiveness of sponsorship campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
