You don't need to have a traditional B2B sales background. This could suit someone looking to move into an office-based sales role from car sales, hospitality, recruitment, retail or another customer-facing environment
The Role:
- Building and developing relationships with customers over the phone
- Contacting existing and lapsed customers to generate new opportunities
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Managing your own pipeline and keeping activity up to date on the internal system
- Working towards individual sales targets as part of a supportive team
- Following up with customers and turning conversations into sales
- Some sales, telesales, customer service or relationship-building experience
- A confident and friendly telephone manner
- Someone who is motivated by targets and earning potential
- Resilience and the ability to handle rejection without giving up
- A positive, hardworking and reliable attitude
- Someone who enjoys speaking to people and building relationships.
