Sales Executive (SaaS)

Hybrid Based Central London (Soho) 3 days per week in office


Role Summary

LM Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client a motivated and commercially driven SaaS Sales Executive to identify, engage, and convert prospective customers into long-term clients. The role focuses on selling cloud-based software solutions to businesses, managing the full sales cycle, and achieving revenue growth targets through consultative selling and relationship management.


The ideal candidate combines strong communication skills with a solid understanding of SaaS products, customer pain points, and modern B2B sales methodologies. You will be a natural self starter and be capable of working both independantly and as part of a team


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (calls, Email, Linked in etc) networking, referrals, and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements, business challenges, and decision-making processes.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Alongside Senior Management Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms within company guidelines.
  • Close deals and consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers using proven customer testimonials and case studies to leverage credibility
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the buyer journey.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer retention.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

Market & Product Knowledge

  • Maintain deep knowledge of the company’s platform, features, and competitive positioning
  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Provide feedback to Product and Marketing teams based on customer insights.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts within the CRM system.
  • Track KPIs including conversion rates, pipeline value and activity metrics.
  • Prepare regular sales reports for management


Required Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS or technology.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing full sales cycles from prospecting to close.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Ability to understand technical products and explain value propositions clearly.
  • Strong organizational and pipeline management skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented

  • Commercially aware with strong business acumen
  • Collaborative team player


Desirable

  • Experience selling subscription-based software solutions.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
