We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our client on the outskirts of Loughborough. This is a permanent, office-based role working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Sales Executive Salary: Circa £28,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Sales Executive Role

The Sales Executive role combines inbound sales, outbound account management and sales administration. Creating a positive customer experience and supporting business growth.







Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound sales calls, understand customer requirements and convert enquiries into sales opportunities.
  • Manage the shared sales inbox, responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, quotation requests and order updates.
  • Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to build relationships, follow up quotations, generate new opportunities and promote products, offers and campaigns.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently via telephone and email.
  • Prepare, send and follow up quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity and communication history within the company CRM system.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's products and services through ongoing training and day-to-day customer interactions.
  • Work closely with colleagues across all departments to support a smooth customer journey and consistently high service standards.
  • Support the wider Sales Team with administrative and operational tasks as required.






About You

  • Enthusiastic, organised and confident communicator, comfortable engaging with customers by phone and email.
  • Sales driven and able to build rapport quickly and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Positive, proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Previous experience in internal sales, sales support, account management or another customer-focused sales role.
  • Experience making outbound sales calls and supporting customer account development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, supported by strong customer service abilities.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook; experience using a CRM system would be advantageous.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple tasks and work effectively as part of a team.
