Sales Executive – Training & Apprenticeships

Up to £35,000 DOE + high OTE potential

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive for a fantastic role selling Business Training Courses and/or Apprenticeships into businesses, and we would also be very keen to hear from applicants who have already worked within these sectors before and who have sold either training or apprenticeships.

For the apprentice sales side of the business this is a pretty unique sales role, in that there is no cost involved to potential clients for them taking on apprentices, it is fully funded and the apprentices will also be trained for them as well. You will be required to proactively generate new employer customers through warm and cold calling and pitching to them the prospect of them having funded modern apprentices within their business.

The training sales side of the business, you would be selling accredited corporate training courses to companies for their staff to undertake and increase their skillset in areas such as IT, business skills, health & safety, finance, leadership, etc.

This is mostly an internal office and telephone-based sales account management role which will also incorporate some external client meetings as well. As well as working from company supplied data and getting warm leads from your lead generation colleagues, you would also source your own leads and target businesses in specific sectors that fit the criteria. In your interim period in the role you will be looking to build up your account base, and in time your position would evolve into being one of mostly account management of existing clients.

With truly excellent services and market-leading prices to offer, your success and earning potential in this role really would only be limited by your own capabilities, self-drive and motivation. This is a full-time permanent position with a starting basic salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience, and achievers here can expect to earn well above their basic salary - anything between £5000 - £25,000 and above per annum within a 3-year period as your account base continues to grow and as you become more experienced in the role.
