Salary: OTE £65,000 uncapped

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday–Thursday 09:00–17:30, Friday 09:00–17:00 (37 hours per week). Saturday 09:00–12:00 on a rota basis, approx. every 6–8 weeks.

The Role

Based at my client’s manufacturing facility in Greenfield, Oldham, you will represent the business in a professional, luxury capacity — nurturing relationships with prospective and existing customers, completing home visits throughout the UK, and attending prestigious events including RHS Chelsea and national flower shows.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Driving sales growth in a professional, luxury manner with every potential customer

Proactively establishing contact with potential new customers by telephone

Responding to sales enquiries from new and existing customers

Completing regular home visits throughout the UK to provide advice and confirm orders

Providing written quotations based on customer requirements

Negotiating with customers to secure sales orders

Meeting monthly and annual sales targets

Driving potential sales through Landscape Architects and garden designers

Attending events throughout the year, including RHS Chelsea and flower shows

Maintaining the contact database with up-to-date activity details

Ensuring effective internal communication across Sales, Production and Customer Services

Monitoring competitor activity and identifying business development opportunities

Skills and Requirements

Previous experience in bespoke manufacturing, customer services, hospitality, or a high-end/luxury brand

Exceptional and empathic customer service skills

A highly proactive and consultative approach to sales

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all media channels

Experience working with a luxury brand

Excellent problem solving and organisational skills

Self-motivated and flexible in approach

Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills

A tenacious work ethic and team-focused mentality

Ability to communicate technical/construction issues to customers

Full clean UK driving licence (essential)

Willingness to stay away from home to complete UK-wide visits

Package

OTE £65,000 uncapped, with basic salary
