£28,000 – 32,000pa plus commission

Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 5.00pm (rota 5 days)

Your Recruitment Coach are looking for a commercially minded Sales Executive to join a busy showroom team in Sevenoaks, Kent

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, building relationships and turning enquiries into sales. You’ll play a key role in driving showroom performance, maximising sales opportunities and delivering an outstanding customer experience from the first enquiry through to the final order.

What will you be doing?

• Converting telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries into sales.
• Managing the full sales journey, from initial enquiry and samples through to quotations, follow-ups and closing orders.
• Building strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Identifying opportunities to increase order values through product recommendations and project-led selling.
• Managing quotations, following up outstanding enquiries and keeping the sales pipeline moving.
• Working closely with the Showroom Manager and Landscape Consultant to support customer projects.
• Ensuring sales orders, CRM records and customer information are accurate and up to date.
• Maintaining high standards of showroom presentation, displays and samples.
• Making proactive outbound calls and contacting customers during quieter periods to generate further business.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in sales, showroom sales or a customer-facing commercial role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A confident, proactive approach to telephone sales and customer follow-up.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to recognise and maximise sales opportunities.
• The ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your own sales activity.
• Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems or order-processing software.

Knowledge of landscaping, paving or building materials would be advantageous, but a strong sales attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service are key.

Working hours and location

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
• Saturday: Working on a rota basis.
• Location: Assigned showroom.
• Reporting to: Showroom Manager.

What matters in this role?

This is a hands-on sales position where every enquiry counts. You’ll be expected to prioritise answering incoming calls, respond promptly to customers, maintain accurate records and actively follow up quotations to convert opportunities into orders.
