Our client is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Sales Lead Generator to identify and develop new business opportunities across South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. This is a remote, field-based role offering the flexibility to manage your own diary while spending the majority of your time visiting prospective customers, building relationships and generating qualified business leads.

As a Sales Lead Generator, you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities.
  • Visit prospective commercial customers to introduce the company's services.
  • Build relationships with business owners, purchasing managers and decision-makers.
  • Generate qualified leads and appointments for the sales team.
  • Conduct face-to-face visits, networking and cold calling activities.
  • Maintain an organised pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Accurately record customer interactions and sales activity.
  • Represent the business professionally at all times.
  • Work towards agreed lead generation and appointment targets.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Previous experience in sales, lead generation or business development.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Experience within industrial, manufacturing, construction, engineering, recycling or waste management sectors is highly desirable
  • Confident approaching new businesses.
  • B2B sales experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Own reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel throughout South Yorkshire and surrounding counties.
