Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive business growth across the UK & Ireland within the pharmaceutical tablet tooling and packaging sector.

This is a high-autonomy role within a specialist international manufacturing organisation. You will take ownership of the territory, developing new business and managing key customer relationships.

Objectives of the Technical Sales Manager:

  • Grow sales across UK & Ireland markets
  • Develop new and existing customer accounts
  • Build long-term client partnerships
  • Achieve:
    • €300,000 (Year 1)
    • €1,000,000 annually thereafter

Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Manager:

  • Develop and execute sales plans
  • Identify and win new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow existing accounts
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Provide product support and training where needed
  • Track pipeline and report on activity
  • Work with internal teams on proposals
  • Manage own schedule, travel, and sales approach independently

Requirements of the Technical Sales Manager:

  • B2B sales experience in technical/engineering sector
  • Background in pharmaceutical tooling or packaging (preferred)
  • Experience with companies such as IHolland, Prodieco, Bosch Packaging, Syntegon
  • Technical education (Engineer/Technician) preferred
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
