Sales Manager (Mat cover contract)

We’re looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to provide 12–15 months of maternity cover, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the sales function while leading and developing a dedicated team.

As Sales Manager, you’ll report directly to the Managing Director and play a key role within the Management Team, shaping sales strategy across all customer channels. You’ll have the opportunity to manage major customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, develop forecasts and strategies, and drive performance across revenue, margin and profitability, whilst coaching a small sales team to reach its full potential.

The Sales Manager role would suit an experienced FMCG sales professional with established relationships across the UK's major grocery retailers and a strong commercial mindset. Your experience in senior sales or national account management will give you the platform to negotiate confidently, develop customers and deliver growth, while your collaborative leadership style will help you thrive within a close-knit and supportive team.

Based in Little Melton, Norwich, you’ll be joining a business with a genuinely distinctive brand and a strong reputation within the premium food and FMCG market. As Sales Manager, you’ll work closely with the Managing Director and a passionate team, helping to shape the next chapter of the business while maintaining the collaborative culture and values that make the organisation such an exciting place to work. The role is fully office-based, Monday to Friday, with occasional infrequent travel.
