Our client is one of the hospitality industry's most trusted service providers and, due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to take ownership of the Midlands region, developing new business opportunities and strengthening our presence within the hotel sector.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Account Director, as the Sales Manager you'll be responsible for identifying and securing new hotel customers across the Midlands. This is a consultative, field-based sales role where you'll build lasting relationships with hotel groups and independent operators, providing tailored linen and laundry solutions that support their operational needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who thrives on winning new business and enjoys building long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional business development strategy to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities across national hotel groups and independent hotels.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers, including General Managers, Operations Directors and Procurement teams.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and handover.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and commercial opportunities within the hospitality sector.
  • Represent Johnsons Hotel Linen professionally, acting as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting and reporting.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
  • A proven track record of winning new business within the hotel or hospitality sector.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Senior Account Manager role.
  • Experience selling B2B solutions, ideally within linen rental, textile services, facilities management or hospitality services.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently in a remote, field-based environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Ideally based in Birmingham or elsewhere within the Midlands.
