What you’ll do day to day
- Oversee the movement, security, and accurate record-keeping of all retail vehicles on site, including when receiving or releasing vehicles
- Manage the delivery and preparation process for all new and used vehicles, ensuring they meet required standards, customer specifications, and are checked for damage and correct paperwork, with any issues reported promptly
- Carry out timely and accurate appraisals of vehicles entering stock, arrange necessary work, and coordinate priorities across the Workshop Controller and Car Valeters
- Maintain high standards across all vehicle stock, including used cars, showroom vehicles, and demonstrators, ensuring compliance with Approved Used standards, tyre and battery checks, and overall presentation
- Ensure all advertised vehicles meet a minimum 90% photographic ratio and that approved used cars are fully prepared within five working days
- Manage used and auction vehicle readiness, including maintaining display standards and ensuring auction vehicles are fully prepared with the correct documentation for collection
