Technical Sales & Rental Representative – Industrial Cleaning Equipment

Location: Middlesbrough / Newcastle (Preferred)
Territory: North East England & Scotland
Salary: £45,000, Pension, Private Health Care, 25 days + bank holiday

Paisley Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier of industrial cleaning equipment for an experienced Technical Sales & Rental Representative to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a technical background who enjoys building customer relationships and developing business across a well-established territory.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing both the sales and rental of specialist industrial cleaning equipment throughout the North East of England and Scotland. Working closely with existing customers while actively developing new business opportunities, you'll become the key point of contact for clients requiring industrial cleaning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the North East and Scotland.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Promote and sell a range of industrial cleaning equipment and technical solutions.
• Maximise equipment rental opportunities alongside equipment sales.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and technical consultations.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and close sales.
• Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure equipment availability and efficient service delivery.
• Achieve agreed sales and rental targets.

About You

• Previous experience in technical sales, equipment hire, rental or industrial sales.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment, plant, engineering or related technical products would be highly advantageous.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ideally based in the Middlesbrough or Newcastle area.
