Location: Dundalk and surrounding areas
Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
Salary: From €31,000 per year, plus bonus
Role type: Field based / on the road
The Role
As a Sales Representative at Panda, you’ll be out in the local community building relationships with residential customers and helping them understand the waste management and recycling services Panda can provide.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing sales role suited to someone confident, motivated and comfortable speaking to people face to face. You’ll be responsible for identifying new customers, explaining our services clearly, managing the sales process, and making sure new accounts are set up smoothly.
The Sales Representative role would suit someone with previous sales experience, strong communication skills and the drive to meet targets while representing Panda in a professional and positive way.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Building and establishing relationships with new customers.
  • Achieving weekly, monthly and yearly sales targets set by management.
  • Developing a strong knowledge of Panda’s products, services and customer offering.
  • Identifying prospects, setting appointments and making effective qualifying sales calls.
  • Managing the sales cycle for residential customers from first contact through to account set-up.
  • Following up with new customers to make sure their accounts are set up correctly.
  • Gathering customer satisfaction feedback after the service has started.
  • Anticipating customer needs and responding in a professional, helpful way.
  • Maintaining accurate customer and sales information using CRM and sales systems.
  • Representing Panda positively while working door to door across Dundalk and surrounding areas.
About You
  • Previous sales experience, ideally 1–2 years.
  • Experience in the waste industry would be helpful, but is not essential.
  • Confident, professional and charismatic approach to customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Comfortable balancing persuasion with professionalism.
  • Able to take initiative and work independently.
  • Well organised, with good attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using sales software, CRM systems, word processing, spreadsheets and database applications.
  • Good understanding of industry standards, or the ability to learn quickly.
