What You'll Do:

  • Customer Engagement: Prepare, review, and submit accurate customer quotations and proposals. Ensure timely communication with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Order Management: Administer customer order reports, issue pre-acquisition questionnaires, and provide vital product information to customers.
  • Compliance: Maintain global compliance standards for UK customers and escalate any necessary inquiries regarding sales outside the UK.
  • Smooth Operations: Proactively communicate with customers regarding order inquiries and logistical support, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Performance Metrics: Adhere to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Support Sales Teams: Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify and follow up on low-value quotations.
  • Customer Complaints: Assist in managing customer complaints and ensure clear and accurate communication throughout the process.

General Duties:

  • Participate in sales meetings and provide relevant information or feedback.
  • Take on ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE or A-level standard, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or related administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in ERP, CRM, or other business systems to manage transactions and customer data.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA ERP system is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus!
