Our client, Ringway, a trusted provider of highways services, is seeking an organised and proactive Scheduler to join their team. In this role, you will coordinate and monitor routine and reactive work delivery, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in line with contract KPIs. You will work closely with operational teams and maintain strong relationships with both internal colleagues and client teams.

Job Description

As a Scheduler, you will play a key role in planning and tracking work activities, managing fluctuating workloads, and ensuring compliance with company policies. You will be responsible for liaising with supervisors, handling emergency works, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires excellent organisational skills, resilience, and the ability to work independently while fostering a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor routine and reactive work delivery in collaboration with operational teams.
• Liaise closely with supervisors and operational staff to ensure work meets contract KPIs.
• Maintain accurate records of sites requiring regular checks and follow-up repairs.
• Receive and allocate emergency works, ensuring 2-hour KPI targets are met.
• Handle permitting for defect works.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and client teams.
• Manage fluctuating workloads efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support a positive staff morale and working environment.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Highly organised and efficient.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• ICT literate, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and resilience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in scheduling and/or highways is desirable but not essential.
