Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a highly organised Scheduler to support the security scheduling function across a major financial services contract.
This is a fast-paced and reactive role focused on ensuring appropriate security officer coverage is maintained across multiple locations through effective planning, coordination and resource management. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining staffing levels and supporting the delivery of contractual requirements.
Job Description
Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders, you will manage both planned and short-notice scheduling requirements, responding to changing operational needs and helping to ensure key performance indicators are consistently achieved. The role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
You will be responsible for coordinating security officer schedules, managing absences and arranging cover to maintain service delivery across the contract. The position requires effective stakeholder communication, accurate record keeping and the ability to prioritise multiple urgent requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule security officers across the wider contract.
- Manage planned, ad hoc and out-of-hours security requirements.
- Respond to sickness, absence and short-notice shift call-offs.
- Source replacement security officers to maintain required staffing levels.
- Liaise with agency and subcontractor partners to secure cover when internal resources are unavailable.
- Build strong working relationships with site leads, operational stakeholders, Regional Operations Managers and the Head of Security.
- Maintain accurate records using Pretium and update spreadsheets to support operational, billing and finance processes.
- Support operational issues and prioritise multiple urgent requirements, particularly during busy out-of-hours periods.

- Good general computer literacy.
- Working knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets, including sorting and filtering data.
