Scheme Manager in Stevenage, Hertfordshire

AWC are recruiting for an experienced Highways Project Manager to join our client's Highways division, managing structural maintenance and highways improvement schemes across the East of England.

You will oversee projects valued up to £500k and annual portfolios of approximately £4m, managing operational resources, programme delivery, health and safety, quality and commercial performance. You will also work closely with clients and programme teams to plan and deliver highway maintenance schemes.

Requirements:

• Experience managing highways construction and structural maintenance schemes, including resurfacing and surface dressing.
• SMSTS qualification and New Roads & Street Works Supervisor experience.
• Knowledge of Chapter 8 and highways health and safety requirements.
• Strong project management, commercial and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Asta and Confirm desirable.
