Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: School Bus Driver £300 - £425 per week, depending on the number of hours worked - PCV Driver £15-16 Per Hour

Location: Newmains, Wishaw

Join the company as a PCV Driver/School Bus Driver in Newmains, Wishaw. In this vital role, you will ensure safe and reliable transportation for passengers while embodying commitment to quality service and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate buses in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and passengers.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips and vehicle conditions.
  • Adhere to schedules and routes to ensure timely arrivals.
  • Support the company's mission by promoting a positive travel experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bus driver.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) license.
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely under various conditions.
  • Prior experience in customer service is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations is advantageous.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

School Bus Driver

  • No evening or weekend work on the school bus rota
