We are supporting a primary school in the Tipton area who require a Caretaking Operative on a temporary basis from late September. This role is ideal for individuals with a practical, hands‑on approach and a commitment to maintaining a safe, well‑kept school environment.

Key Details

• 20 hours per week
• Days and times negotiable
• Temporary role

Role Responsibilities

• General caretaking duties across the school site
• Supporting with maintenance, repairs and facilities upkeep
• Ensuring health & safety standards are met
• Opening/closing duties as required
• Assisting with site security and cleanliness

Ideal Candidates

• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
• Previous caretaking or facilities experience beneficial
• Comfortable with manual tasks and practical problem‑solving
• Able to work flexibly within agreed hours
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
