School Catering Assistant

An enhanced DBS is required for these roles

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Support the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a kitchen, catering, school, or food service environment is essential
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices is essential
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a busy environment
• Available for School Hours
• Current DBS Certificate
• Food Hygiene Certificate
