We are currently recruiting for Catering Assistants to work in a variety of schools across the Birmingham area, supporting school kitchen teams in providing delicious meals for pupils and staff.
As a recruitment agency working with local schools, we are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team on a flexible basis.
Location: Various schools across Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am–2:00pm (hours may vary depending on the school)
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.
- Helping with general kitchen duties, including washing up and cleaning.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
- Ensuring the dining and kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Supporting the catering team to ensure the smooth running of the school kitchen.
- Providing a friendly and helpful service to pupils and school staff.
- Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Able to follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
- Comfortable working in a busy school environment.
- Monday to Friday working hours, with no regular weekend work.
- Part-time hours, ideal for fitting around family or other commitments.
