Remedy Education are looking for a reliable and experienced School Chef to join a supportive SEN school based in Woodford.

This is a part-time role working Mondays and Tuesdays, 10:00am - 2:00pm. The school are looking for someone who can prepare healthy, balanced meals in a safe and hygienic kitchen environment while understanding the importance of working within a school setting.

Hours: Monday and Tuesday, 10:00am - 2:00pm
Start Date: ASAP / September roles available
School Type: SEN School
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Role:

As a School Chef, you will:

* Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals for pupils and staff
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
* Follow allergy, dietary and food safety procedures at all times
* Support with menu preparation, stock control and food ordering where required
* Ensure meals are prepared on time and to a high standard
* Work safely and professionally within an SEN school environment
* Keep the kitchen organised, clean and compliant with health and safety standards

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Previous chef, cook or kitchen experience
* School, nursery or care setting experience is desirable
* Good knowledge of food hygiene, allergies and dietary requirements
* A Food Hygiene certificate is desirable
* A reliable, organised and professional approach
* The ability to work independently and manage time well
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
