School Cleaner

Location: Plymouth and surroudning Areas 

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting surfaces.
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and hygiene products.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management.

Essential Requirements

• A current Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service is required and must be in place before employment can commence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous professional cleaning experience.
• Experience working within a school, educational setting, or similar environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and health and safety procedures.
