School Cleaner in Westhoughton, Greater Manchester

£14.00-£14.50 per hour | Monday-Friday | 3:00pm-6:00pm

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a gorgeous, welcoming school in the Westhoughton area.

This is a part-time, temporary role starting within the next couple of weeks and expected to continue until February 2027, while the school completes its permanent recruitment process.

• Monday to Friday

• 3:00pm-6:00pm - 15 hours per week

• £14.00-£14.50 per hour

• Westhoughton

• Starting as soon as possible or after half term

• Ongoing until approximately February 2027

• Cleaning classrooms, toilets, communal areas and other areas around the school

• Helping to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school

• Following appropriate health and safety and cleaning procedures

• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work

• Can work independently and manage their time effectively

• Has previous professional cleaning experience

• Previous cleaning experience within a school or other education setting would be highly advantageous

• Knowledge of COSHH and the safe use and storage of cleaning products would be an advantage

• Any relevant cleaning, hygiene, health & safety or COSHH training/qualifications would be beneficial

• Is comfortable working within a school environment and around children and staff
