School Cleaner - Lambeth

Remedy is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a friendly and welcoming SEN school in Lambeth starting ASAP.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking for a full time role within a school environment. Working from 10am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, you will play an important role in ensuring the school is clean, safe, and ready for staff and students each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting throughout the school.
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables where required.
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
• Following health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the Site Team.
• Working independently and as part of the wider cleaning team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office, or commercial environment.
• A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high cleaning standards.
• The ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• A reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
