A highly regarded specialist school in East Finchley is seeking an experienced IT Technician to join its team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled school-based IT professional to support staff and students across a busy educational environment, ensuring the smooth operation of the school's IT infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second-line technical support to staff and students.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
  • Set up, maintain and manage desktops, laptops, printers, interactive displays and other classroom technology.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Windows environments and user accounts.
  • Assist with network administration and routine maintenance.
  • Manage IT equipment inventories and device deployment.
  • Ensure safeguarding and cybersecurity procedures are followed.
  • Support teaching staff with classroom technology and educational software.
  • Liaise with external IT providers where required.
Essential RequirementsPlease only apply if you meet ALL of the following criteria:
  • Previous experience working as an IT Technician within a school environment is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience supporting users in a busy educational setting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
