School Lettings Manager

East Grinstead | Full-Time | Permanent | September Start Available

A welcoming and well-established school in the East Grinstead area is looking to appoint a proactive and commercially minded Lettings Manager to oversee the successful operation of its facilities outside of school hours.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating bookings and helping maximise the use of excellent school facilities for the local community.

• Manage all aspects of the school's lettings programme from enquiry through to completion.
• Develop relationships with sports clubs, community organisations and local businesses.
• Coordinate caretaking and site teams to ensure facilities are ready for use.
• Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety and compliance procedures are adhered to.
• Monitor bookings, prepare invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Identify opportunities to increase community usage and generate additional income.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all external hirers.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in facilities management, venue management, hospitality or events.
• Is confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Has excellent organisational and IT skills.
• Can work independently and use initiative.
• Is flexible to support evening and occasional weekend lettings.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and maintaining high professional standards.
