About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable, professional and safety-conscious Minibus Driver to join a welcoming school in Bracknell.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting pupils to and from school, ensuring a professional, punctual and friendly service at all times. You will play an important role in supporting the school's daily operations and ensuring pupils arrive at their destinations safely and on time.

You must hold an enhanced DBS on the update service 

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport pupils between the school and designated destinations.
  • Complete morning and afternoon school transport runs promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure pupils are safely seated and supervised during journeys.
  • Carry out appropriate vehicle safety checks before journeys.
  • Ensure the minibus is kept clean, safe and presentable.
  • Report any vehicle defects, maintenance requirements or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow school policies and procedures relating to pupil safety and safeguarding.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to vehicle checks and journeys where required.
  • Communicate professionally with pupils, parents/carers and school staff.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professional standards are maintained at all times.
  • Respond appropriately to any incidents or concerns during transportation.
  • Support the school with occasional additional driving duties where required and agreed.

Essential Requirements
  • A full, valid UK driving licence with the appropriate entitlement to drive the school's minibus.
  • Previous experience driving a minibus or transporting passengers is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working with children or within an educational environment is desirable.
  • Good understanding of road safety and passenger safety.
  • Ability to complete the required vehicle safety checks.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Willingness to undergo the school's required safeguarding and recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check.
