Salary: £25,000 - £45,000 per annum
Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are reserved for candidates with substantial experience and/or relevant training. Pay is determined in line with school expectations and Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.

About the Role

Teach Now is recruiting for a highly organised and experienced School Office Manager to join a friendly, community-focused primary school in Barnet from September 2026.

As School Office Manager, you will oversee the smooth daily running of a busy school office, ensuring staff, pupils, parents and visitors receive a professional, welcoming and efficient service.

Requirements
• Experience in school administration, office management or a similar busy setting
• Excellent organisation, communication and customer service skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and school management systems
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and accurate record-keeping
• A calm, professional and proactive approach

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the school office
• Act as a key first point of contact for parents, staff, pupils and visitors
• Maintain pupil records, admissions, attendance and correspondence
• Support senior leaders with reports, data returns and communications
• Coordinate office systems, deadlines and administrative processes
• Assist with general office duties and basic finance-related administration
