We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Office Manager to join a busy and welcoming school team in Widnes. This is a full-time position offered initially on a contract basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the school office
  • Manage administrative systems and office procedures
  • Lead and support office staff where required
  • Maintain accurate pupil records and school data
  • Handle communication with parents, staff, and external agencies
  • Support attendance, admissions, and reporting processes
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a school environment is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of SIMS and Arbor systems
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, proactive, and approachable manner
