Your new role
No two days on reception are ever the same!As the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and staff, you'll be the face and voice of the school. You'll play a key role in keeping the front office running smoothly while delivering excellent customer service with a smile.Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Meeting and greeting visitors
✅ Managing the busy school telephone system
✅ Responding to emails and enquiries
✅ Checking visitors and contractors in and out of school
✅ General administrative support
✅ Accepting and processing deliveries
✅ Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service

What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. Schools are busy environments, so you'll need to be organised, proactive and adaptable.You will be:

⭐ Professional and approachable
⭐ Reliable and punctual
⭐ Able to juggle multiple tasks with confidence
⭐ Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
⭐ Calm under pressure and able to think on your feet
⭐ Committed to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding standards

Previous school office or reception experience would be highly advantageous.We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.
