School Site Assistant

Initial Contract: 5 weeks, commencing 6th November
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

We are looking for a reliable and practical Site Assistant to join our school team for an initial five-week period.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the school site, helping to ensure the premises are clean, safe, well-maintained and ready for pupils and staff.

• Carry out general hands-on maintenance and basic site duties.

• Assist with setting up the main hall for lunches, assemblies and other school activities.

• Porter and distribute food as required.

• Replenish toilet rolls and other essential supplies.

• Help with the general upkeep and presentation of the school premises.

• Respond positively to ad-hoc tasks and requests from school staff.

• Work safely and responsibly at all times.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

• Practical and willing to be hands-on.

• Able to work independently and use their own initiative.

• Flexible and happy to undertake a variety of tasks.

• Friendly, approachable and able to work well as part of a team.

• Previous school experience is desirable but not essential.

This is a varied and practical role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys supporting a busy school environment.
