Provide Education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Manager to join a well-maintained school site in Retford, supporting the day-to-day running of the premises.

This is a full time, temporary ongoing position, responsible for ensuring the school environment is safe, secure and well-presented for children, staff and visitors.

The school takes pride in maintaining high site standards, with a strong focus on health and safety, security and compliance, making it an excellent opportunity for a Caretaker or Site Manager looking for a role in a school setting.

School Site Manager benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate (£14.25 – £15.00 per hour, dependent on experience)

School Site Manager role requirements:

  • Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
  • Basic DIY and maintenance skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Reliable and proactive approach
  • Experience conducting legionella checks
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

The successful School Candidate will:

  • Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
  • Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks
  • Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas
  • Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school site
