First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Part-Time School Taxi Driver to join their professional team in Saffron Walden.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused driver looking for a part-time, permanent position within a friendly, family-run business. The successful candidate will play an important role in providing a safe, reliable and professional transport service.

You will be guaranteed 12.5 hours per week, with full training and support provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely transport school pupils to and from school and other designated locations.
• Provide a professional, friendly and courteous service to passengers.
• Ensure passengers are transported safely and reliably.
• Follow designated routes and schedules.
• Maintain high standards of punctuality and reliability.
• Carry out appropriate vehicle safety checks and report any defects or concerns.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers throughout each journey.
• Maintain a professional approach when representing the company.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Attend required training, medicals and company events.
• Work flexibly and support the wider team when required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Category B (Car) driving licence.
• Previous driving or passenger transport experience is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.
• Strong commitment to passenger safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, positive and can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a friendly team.
• Willingness to undertake any required training.
