This Suffolk school is committed to delivering high-quality science education, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and practical investigation while supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes across Key Stages.
Job Overview:
- This school caters for students aged 11-16.
- Full-time, Monday - Friday, Science Teacher role.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons across KS3-KS4.
- Inspire students across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through practical and theory-based learning.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure strong attainment.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.

What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Science or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3-KS4).
- A passion for Science and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
