ABOUT THE SCIENCE TEACHER ROLE

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, Any Science A-level would an advantage
• Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialisms welcomed
• Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons
• Work alongside an experienced team of Science Teachers
• Support students across a wide range of abilities
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Contribute to the continued success of the Science department

THE SUCCESSFUL SCIENCE TEACHER WILL HAVE:

• QTS or equivalent
• Previous experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge
• Good classroom and behaviour management
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A genuine enthusiasm for Science
• The ability to work effectively as part of a department
• Full-time availability and commitment to the role
