The Supply Register is recruiting a passionate and experienced Secondary Science Teacher to work at Birley Academy in Sheffield on a flexible supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher looking for flexible teaching work, competitive daily rates and the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a supportive secondary school environment.

• Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Plan and adapt lessons to meet students' learning needs

• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain high standards

• Assess student progress, mark work and provide feedback

• Create a positive and engaging learning environment

• Work collaboratively with the Science department

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Science at secondary school level

• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

• Ability to engage and motivate students

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

• Weekly PAYE payments every Friday
