Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio is a 13-19 Mainstream Studio School based in Darwen, Lancashire, specialising in Creative/Technical Digital Technologies and Care Sector.

Established in 2013 and located in the heart of historical Darwen on the edge of the West Pennine Moors, the Studio is the town’s best kept secret. Are you organised, practical, and passionate about science? We're looking for a dedicated Science Technician to play a key role in supporting our vibrant science department. In this rewarding role, you'll prepare equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical lessons, maintain laboratories and resources to a high standard, support teachers and students during experiments, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and assist with ordering and managing laboratory supplies. Your contribution will help create a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environment where students can develop their scientific knowledge through hands-on experiences.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous laboratory or school experience is desirable but not essential.
