We are looking for a reliable and organised Science Technician to join a secondary school in Greenwich on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment and materials for practical science lessons.
- Set up and clear away laboratory experiments.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and stock levels.
- Ensure laboratories are clean, organised, and safe.
- Prepare and safely store chemicals in line with health and safety regulations.
- Support teachers during practical lessons where required.
- Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a laboratory setting is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of laboratory health and safety procedures.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
