Sales Development Representative (SDR)- ENTRY LEVEL

Bolton | Office-based | £25,000 basic + commission | October start

Are you confident, ambitious and ready to build a career in sales?

We’re hiring two entry level Sales Development Representatives to join a growing tech business in Bolton. 

This is a genuine starting point for a long term sales career with structured training, hands on support and a clear route into Account Executive, Account Management and senior sales roles.

You don’t need previous sales experience. We’re looking for people with energy, 

resilience and the confidence to pick up the phone and start conversations.

The role

As an SDR, you’ll generate qualified sales opportunities for the wider sales team. You’ll be speaking with prospective customers and lapsed customers, building rapport,  identifying needs and opening the door to future business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Making outbound calls and engaging prospective customers
• Generating and qualifying new sales leads
• Building relationships and uncovering further opportunities
• Recording activity and maintaining accurate prospect information
• Working closely with Account Executives and Account Managers, who will take qualified opportunities through to sale
• Learning about Tech and IT solutions market through practical, on-the-job coaching

What we’re looking for

This role would suit a college leaver, university graduate or someone early in their  career who wants to move into sales-NO WORK EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY FOR THIS ROLE

You’ll bring:

• Confidence communicating with different people, especially over the  phone
• A positive, resilient mindset - you won’t be discouraged by rejection
• Motivation to learn, develop and progress
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• A humble, team-focused approach

A realistic understanding that this is a phone-led, entry-level sales role. Customer facing experience in retail, hospitality, events, performance or similar environments would be useful, but isn’t essential if you have don't have any experience at all but have the right mindset and attitude we want to hear from you.
