Salary:

Salary will be dependent upon proven experience, qualifications, and the expectations and requirements of the role.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:30pm Full-time position, 5 days per week.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Music Teacher to join a supportive secondary school on a full-time supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact while delivering engaging and creative music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

  • Full-time position, 5 days per week.
  • Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation and marking.
  • Deliver high-quality Music lessons that inspire creativity, confidence and a love of music.
  • Assess, monitor and support student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
  • Knowledge of the secondary Music curriculum.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to raising standards and supporting student achievement.
