You will be joining a supportive and collaborative Mathematics department that values strong subject knowledge, innovative teaching, and high expectations for all learners.

Contract: Full-time
Salary: Matched to your level on the Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Differentiate teaching to support a wide range of abilities
• Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives
• Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree or specialism in Mathematics or a related subject
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
• The ability to commute to or be based in Trafford, Manchester
