Remedy Education are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to join a supportive SEN school based in Romford.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is confident supporting secondary-aged students with additional needs. The school are looking for someone who can deliver engaging lessons, adapt learning where needed and support students with both academic progress and personal development.

Role Details:

Position: Secondary Teacher
Location: Romford
Pay: £180-£230 per day
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP / September roles available

Age Group: Secondary-aged students

The Role:

As a Secondary Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver lessons to secondary-aged students within an SEN setting
* Adapt teaching to suit a range of learning needs and abilities
* Support students with engagement, confidence and independence
* Maintain a structured, positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider support team
* Use clear routines and behaviour strategies to support learning
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where required
* Help students develop both academic and life skills

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching secondary-aged students
* Previous SEN experience is desirable
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* A calm, patient and resilient approach
* Confidence differentiating lessons and resources
* A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
