About The School
The school is a vibrant and inclusive specialist setting for pupils aged 11–19 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Due to ongoing demand, the Trust is looking for multiple Teaching Assistants to provide support across the school.
There are opportunities for:
- Flexible day-to-day supply work
- Regular weekly work

Your Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils aged 11–19 with EHCPs
- Provide support both in and outside of the classroom
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging, personalised and inclusive learning activities
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Support pupils with social, emotional, communication and learning needs
- Promote independence, confidence and personal development
- Create a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team
- Encourage pupils to achieve their individual goals
- A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
- The ability to provide a minimum of two years' employment and/or education references
- At least one reference must comment on your experience and interaction when working with children or young people
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education
- Flexible working to fit around your existing commitments
