Secondary Teachers Required Across Wigan

Hays Education is recruiting Secondary Teachers, ECTs, Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors for a variety of roles across Wigan and the surrounding areas.We are working closely with secondary schools to recruit talented education professionals for opportunities ranging from day-to-day supply and short-term cover to long-term placements.
ECTs who have not yet secured a role for this academic year are strongly encouraged to apply. Supply and long-term placements are an excellent way to gain valuable classroom experience, build your confidence, and often lead to longer-term or permanent opportunities within schools.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools (placements considered for ECTs)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
